INTRODUCTION

International conference on Thermo-Fluids and System Design [ICTFSD-2022] is a premier interdisciplinary forum to present new advances and research findings in the fields of thermo-fluids engineering, mechanical design and materials engineering. The objective of the conference is to bring together scientists, researchers, and people from industries and academia from around the world who are involved in the design, analysis and construction of micro-scale to large-scale industrial systems. There are numerous applications of thermo-fluid systems around us, and this subject is not only confined to mechanical engineering but almost to all the disciplines of science and engineering to a greater or lesser extent. Examples include air conditioning, refrigeration, IC engines, turbine blade cooling, microchannel flow, geothermal systems, battery design, environmental fluid dynamics, building design, to name a few. Since the choice of materials is one of the key parameters in any design – particularly in the conjugate heat transfer process – this aspect is also given attention.
